The environmental organisation Greenpeace continues to identify an existing risk of asbestos at Schlaining Castle (Oberwart district). It therefore lodged a complaint with the Landesverwaltungsgericht (LVwG) against Landesimmobilien Burgenland GmbH (LIB). Greenpeace had already warned at the end of July of increased asbestos values at several destinations in Burgenland - including Schlaining Castle. New analyses would now confirm this.
