Average prices dropped 21.5 cents per gallon in the last week — averaging $4.02 — according to GasBuddy's survey of 79 stations in Champaign.

Hunter 06/22/26 Gas prices continue to drop in Iowa and across the nation. Gas Buddy’s survey of over 2000 stations shows the average price in Iowa is now $3.54 a gallon. That’s a little over 16 cents lower than a week ago, and over 67 less than a month ago. The price remains over 49 cents higher than it was a year ago. The national average is down a little over 14 cents, to $3.85 a gallon, still over 67 cents higher than a year ago at this time…
