Following the 7.76 lira increase in diesel fuel prices overnight, the price per liter exceeded 90 lira in many cities, reaching historical levels. Industry sources stated that further increases in fuel prices are expected in the coming months due to the continuation of Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) increases.
