Nemuel Babba, former archbishop of the Christian Lutheran Church in Nigeria, has chosen the cemetery in Rituvík as his final resting place. Rituvík is the hometown of his wife, Kaju Babba - born Lamhauge. Priests, deacons, other bishops and Musa Panti Filibus, the sitting archbishop of Nigeria, attended the funeral. This is the first time since the Reformation, in the 1500s, that a bishop is buried in the Faroe Islands.
