APF Canada Launches Canadian Women-Only Business Mission to the Philippines with Public Symposium in Manila
The mission highlights Canadian women entrepreneurs' sustainable innovations in food, energy, and digital sectors, with over 100 participants from Canada and the Philippines.
- On Feb. 02, 2026, the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada launched Securing our Futures, its tenth women-only business mission to the Philippines, anchored by a public symposium in Manila on February 4, 2026.
- Part of its 2019–26 series, the mission is based on over four decades of research and programming by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, an independent not-for-profit.
- The public symposium will convene 100-plus participants, including women entrepreneurs and trade officials, with a keynote by The Honourable Cristina Aldeguer-Roque at the Ben Chan ArtSuite from 9:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on February 4, 2026.
- Organisers say the symposium will surface practical ideas to catalyze gender-inclusive trade and investment and APF Canada launched the mission with strong public and private sectors support to deepen partnerships amid global uncertainty.
- The mission spotlights Canadian women entrepreneurs advancing sustainable and resilient solutions across food and energy security, infrastructure, and the digital economy, APF Canada said.
