- Since assuming leadership, Yilwatda has consolidated the APC's position as one of Africa's largest political organizations, working closely with the National Working Committee and other stakeholders.
- The National Chairman will use this break to rest and finalize planning for an upcoming NWC Retreat while sharpening strategic thinking for the 2027 general elections and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda.
- Special Adviser Abimbola Tooki emphasized that Yilwatda's temporary absence does not affect party operations, as the NWC continues discharging responsibilities according to APC constitution and established procedures.
