Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, told Digi24 that there is no need to limit electricity consumption for large industrial consumers either this week or next week. Romania’s Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 to Remain Offline for at Least Another 10 Days
Restarting Unit 2 of Romania’s Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) is unlikely over the next ten days, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Energy Cristian Busoi said in an interview with Digi24. He warned that drought and the low flow of the Danube River mean the facility must remain offline, adding that the Energy Ministry needs to carefully manage available reserves.
