Lotte Kopecky has erased her frustration of the first days by winning the 4th stage of the Women's Tour of Spain, from which she took the leader's red jersey to the detriment of German Franziska Koch, Wednesday in Antas de Ulla (Galice).
Lotte Kopecky (30) has secured her coveted victory in the Vuelta Femenina. After a hilly stage of 116 kilometers, she won in an uphill sprint ahead of her teammate Anna van der Breggen and Letizia Paternoster. Shari Bossuyt finished fourth. With this victory, Kopecky also achieves a double victory, as she becomes the new leader of the Vuelta.
The women's version of the Tour of Spain has moved into the second half. Lotte Kopecky won the sprint on stage 4, taking the overall lead. Urška Žigart did not lose any time in the first four days, despite two falls, and is 24th overall.

Fourth time's the charm. Lotte Kopecky has finally secured her coveted stage victory in the Vuelta. In Antas de Ulla, the Belgian sprinter sprinted to victory in the fourth stage with a display of great power. Moreover, thanks to the bonus seconds at the finish, the SD Worx-Protime team leader will also start in the red leader's jersey tomorrow. Teammate Anna van der Breggen and Letizia Paternoster complete the podium.
