Styrian plant manufacturer Andritz has received a mega project in Slovakia with a contract value in the mid-three-digit million-euro range, the listed company announced on Tuesday. Together with the Slovak company Vuje, Andritz is to renew and modernise the Gabčíkovo hydropower plant on the Danube. It is the largest hydropower plant in Slovakia with a current total capacity of 720 megawatts.
