Slovenian alpine skier Ana Bucik Jogan competed in her last race today at the age of 32. With a 23rd place finish in the slalom, the woman from Novo Gorica put an end to a competitive career in which she made 212 World Cup appearances. Of these, she finished in the top ten in 22 races and was on the podium once.
American Mikaela Shiffrin won the penultimate women's slalom for the Alpine Skiing World Cup of the season in Are. Slovenian Ana Bucik Jogan also competed in the final, finishing 23rd, +3:36 behind, ending her career. Nika Tomšič retired after the second section of the last elite race of the season and was unranked.
