MRI Confirms Star Packers Defensive Lineman Tore His ACL
- On Sunday, Micah Parsons tore his ACL while rushing Denver quarterback Bo Nix in the third quarter, and ESPN, Jordan Schultz, and Matt Schneidman confirmed an MRI showed the tear Monday.
- After beating the right tackle, Parsons' knee buckled non-contact as he chased Bo Nix, and Packers trainers and teammates attended to him on the field.
- In 14 games Parsons recorded 79 pressures, 51 hurries, 14 QB hits, 12.5 sacks and 41 tackles with a 22.5% pass-rush win-rate per Pro Football Focus after signing a four-year, $188 million deal following his trade from Dallas Cowboys.
- Losing Parsons compounds Green Bay's setback as Christian Watson was also injured, forcing Jeff Halfey to adjust his defense without a superstar pass rusher.
- Parsons, 26, is expected to miss the rest of 2025 and likely the start of 2026, and Parsons wrote on X `I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated. This injury is my greatest test a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony`.
