[Kadena] At approximately 10:15 a.m. on the 21st, an F-35A stealth fighter jet, which is temporarily deployed at Kadena Air Base, made an emergency landing. It circled once over the base before landing on the south runway. The pilot exited the aircraft with the assistance of firefighters. After inspection by ground personnel, the aircraft was towed to the parking area. The runway was not closed.
