A 21-year-old out-of-school facilitator working near Rennes has been charged with rape and sexual assault of young children and is under judicial supervision.
On Tuesday, the Rennes Public Prosecutor's Office announced the indictment of an out-of-school facilitator at a school in Saint-Aubin-d'Aubigné (Ille-et-Vilaine). The 21-year-old suspect had been working in a school in the commune of Saint-Aubin-d-Aubigné since 2023. He had been laid off in June after several of his colleagues had been reported.
The 21-year-old had been placed in police custody on Monday, following complaints from the parents of two girls aged 5 and 4.
The 21-year-old host, who was laid off as a result of the events reported in June, had been employed since September 2023 in the Paul Gauguin School in Saint-Aubin-d-Aubigné and had been working with kindergartens since September 2025.
