An inspector within ANAF Timişoara is being investigated by prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) for allegedly accepting a businessman's proposal to receive 1.5 million euros to intervene with his colleagues to admit VAT reimbursement.
Anti-corruption prosecutors have brought criminal proceedings against three persons in a case in which alleged acts of influence trafficking, buying influence and complicity in influence trafficking are investigated.
