The United States newspaper Wall Street Journal has revealed a growing clandestine partnership between the Somali armed militia Al-Houthi and Al-Shabaab since 2023, which includes arms exchanges, training and operational coordination.
The Houthi-al-Shabaab relationship is not simply the amount of weapons transferred, but the transfer of military capabilities.
