Amersfoort's Stadhuisplein (City Hall Square) was the scene of a turbulent demonstration against new asylum centers on Tuesday evening. Around 150 opponents of asylum centers and about 70 supporters, representing the Antifa group, took part. The deployment of the riot police was desperately needed to prevent serious problems.
