Amazon Rolls Out New Agentic AI for Third-Party Sellers
The free Seller Assistant can run continuous workflows for pricing, promotions and inventory management, Amazon said.
- On Wednesday, Amazon introduced a new agentic artificial intelligence service for third-party sellers, expanding automation features for listing and inventory management.
- "We would just bring it to them where they work," said Mary Beth Westmoreland, Amazon's vice president of Worldwide Selling Partner Experience, describing the vision behind integrating Anthropic's Claude and Amazon Quick.
- Known as "workflows," the service runs continuously to perform actions like alerting sellers if ratings decline, with the plugin currently in beta for international expansion planned.
- Every primary selling account holder worldwide receives a free 12-month subscription to Amazon Quick Plus through December 31, 2026, while sellers retain control over personal data shared with the service.
- Following a leadership change this year, Amit Agarwal now manages selling partner services as the Federal Trade Commission pursues antitrust scrutiny regarding seller fees and Amazon's technology practices.
