- Jensen International Automotive has fully unveiled the Interceptor GTX, a modern track-focused revival of the classic grand tourer powered by a supercharged 6.8-liter V-8 sending 960 horsepower to the rear wheels.
- British specialists Coventry Metalcraft handcrafted the aluminum body while Texas-based Late Model Engines reengineered a General Motors LT-series V-8, retaining fewer than 20 percent of original components. Avant Design shaped the aggressive aerodynamics.
- Inside the cabin, a bespoke, FIA-approved roll cage and Tillett carbon-fiber seats prioritize safety, while a Samsonas Motorsport six-speed sequential transmission manages the power and an adjustable rear wing generates over 771 pounds of downforce.
- While currently an "enhanced prototype," the GTX will eventually spawn road-legal Interceptor GTR and GT models, with Jensen International Automotive planning to offer these variants with either an H-pattern manual or an automatic transmission.
