Aldi Is Lowering Prices for Fall. Here’s What’s Cheaper
Aldi says the cuts will save shoppers about $86 million and include produce, chicken, coffee and other staples through at least Nov. 3.
Starting Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Aldi is reducing prices on nearly one-third of its regularly stocked products across all U.S. stores to help shoppers manage rising grocery costs.
Grocery prices have remained elevated above last year's levels throughout this year, prompting the company to address financial strain felt by many Americans amid persistent inflation.
The initiative delivers an estimated $86 million in savings, with discounts including Kirkwood chicken breast at $1.99 per pound and Honeycrisp apples, now 35% cheaper than last year.
ALDI Chief Commercial Officer Scott Patton said the company is "making additional investments to lower prices on our better-for-you favorites," with reductions running through November 3, 2026.
America's fastest-growing grocer operates more than 2,600 stores nationwide and plans to launch new single-serve and family-style prepared meals in select stores beginning in October.
