BELMONT, N.C. – All clear at South Point High School after a tense start to the day on Wednesday. The Gaston county school went into lockdown after an alarm malfunctioned around 8:22 AM. Gaston County Police say officers cleared the campus before nine AM. They found no threat to students or staff.
