Air India crew member finds $2,120 missing after New York-Mumbai flight, colleague summoned

Sahar police are investigating the alleged theft of US $2,120 from an Air India cabin crew member’s bag, possibly during or after a New York-Mumbai flight on September 21. The crew member suspected a colleague of stealing the money, but no arrest has been made so far. The case comes amid a Crime Branch probe into 27 bag-theft cases at Mumbai airport involving cash and jewellery worth over Rs 1.1 crore.
