Air Canada pivots from U.S. to Latin America, Europe and Japan in new winter schedule
Air Canada is launching new flights to Quito and expanding service to Brazil, Chile, and Japan as Canadians pivot away from U.S. travel in 2026. The airline will also add year-round service between Toronto and Manchester, England and flights from Toronto to Copenhagen, Denmark, in October, using its new Airbus A321XLR base in Toronto.
Flights on the Montreal–Quito route will be scheduled for Thursday, Saturday and Monday, with arrivals at 00:10. Conversely, Quito–Montreal will operate the same days, with departures from 09:00.
