The Fédération nationale de l'industrie dairy (Fnil) has found great disparities between the territories on the effects of the heat wave on dairy farms. "Overall, the losses are not enormous," says its president, François-Xavier Huard, who rejects any idea of raising the price of milk to help farmers absorb the additional costs associated with buying fodder.
