Haze: King consents to lifting of emergency in Serian
KUALA LUMPUR: The emergency declaration in Serian, Sarawak, imposed for hazardous haze conditions, has officially ended with the consent of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia. The emergency was declared on Friday (Sept 4).
The termination was approved by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim after the API reading was no longer at dangerous levels.
