Greek reports have revealed ongoing discussions to establish a joint rapid reaction force comprising Greece, Israel, and Cyprus, with the aim of protecting strategic infrastructure at sea and in the air in the eastern Mediterranean, in light of Turkey's growing military influence in the region.
Recent increased military contacts between Greece, the Greek Cypriot Administration (GCA), and Israel indicate preparations for a new security arrangement targeting Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean.
