By the end of 2025, RTL Deutschland had already announced the dismantling of more than 600 jobs, which had been implemented in the first quarter of 2026 – even before the takeover of Sky was released.
As BILD learned exclusively, RTL CEO Stephan Schmitter informed the employees that 500 jobs will be saved at RTL and Sky by the end of the year.
