The intensification of agriculture, hunting, pollution, invasive species, habitat loss and climate change are among the main threats identified in the report.
According to the BirdLife report, 200 species of migratory birds worldwide, or 11% of all migratory birds, are threatened with extinction. The report includes the Africa-Eurasia Migration Route System, which encompasses Türkiye, and in Antalya, 384 bird species are registered, 18 of which are globally threatened.
