The website (t24.com.tr) and social media accounts of the independent online newspaper T24 have been blocked by a decision of the Istanbul 1st Magistrates' Court dated September 29, 2026, and numbered 2026/8894. The news that T24 was blocked first appeared on the Freedom of Expression Association website.

Burhanettin Bulut, the New Party's Adana MP, reacted to the decision to shut down T24. Bulut stated, "This is a clear interference with democracy, freedom of the press, and the public's right to information."
