ABVP students protest at Civic Centre over Satya Niketan building collapse

Police said some protesters attempted to forcibly enter the main building, leading to a scuffle between them and police personnel.

Five people died in a building collapse in Satya Niketan, Delhi. Following the incident, ABVP members protested against the MCD and vandalized the Civic Center. Police detained approximately 15 people. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has ordered a magisterial inquiry and an FIR against the building owner. NDRF teams are searching for people trapped in the debris. Rescue operations are underway.
