Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu Returns With New Artwork as Aardman Reveals New Details About Its Stop-Motion Series

- On June 22, Aardman Animations unveiled details for 'The Misadventures of Sirfetch and Pichu' at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, collaborating with The Pokemon Company International.
- Celebrating 50 years of animation, Aardman partners with The Pokemon Company International to blend stop-motion and 2D styles, set in Galar, a region mirroring the United Kingdom.
- Sarah Cox stated the show embraces "comedic storytelling that celebrates the quirks, eccentricities and charms of our heroes," while Director Tom Parkinson's team follows Sirfetch and Pichu protecting creatures in Galar.
- Expanding its portfolio, Aardman also announced 'Let's Go Timmy!', featuring Bitzer the sheep dog helping Timmy, Yabba, and Apricot navigate mornings at Mossy Bottom School using hybrid animation styles.
- Future releases include 'The Misadventures of Sirfetch and Pichu' in 2027 and 'The Beast of Mossy Bottom' in September, according to Kate Morton, Senior Head of Commissioning for CBeebies.
