‘A real kick in the teeth’: Dozens of tram stops have been upgraded, but wheelchair users still can’t board

Advocates say more than 30 stops were upgraded for new G-class trams without promised raised platforms, leaving access below 30% statewide.

Tram stops across two routes have are being upgraded to accommodate new tram models. Advocates say it was a missed opportunity to also build much needed accessibility improvements.
