A 17-year-old Moroccan boy was found hiding in the wheel well of a Real Valladolid football club bus returning from the North African enclave of Ceuta, where 72,000 migrants entered illegally this summer, a club spokesman said.
Players alerted the driver after hearing cries of help coming from the vehicle's lows, where the young man remained hidden since the team boarded the ferry.
The 17-year-old was attached to the axle of the vehicle’s wheels and wanted to reach the Algeciras children’s centre.
During the return trip, the team heard a voice calling for help and coming from the lower part of the vehicle. When they checked the bus's bass, they located the young man hidden between the vehicle's mechanical axes.
