The first case of carbon monoxide poisoning in the new heating season was recorded by rescuers in the Moravian-Silesian Region. On Friday, they went to a house in Štramberk in the Novojičín region, where a senior man and woman were poisoned.
They were dizzy and had trouble breathing. The couple (73 and 76) from Štamberk called the paramedics, who knew when they entered the house that they had both been drugged by the leaking carbon monoxide.
With the start of the heating season, Moravian-Silesian rescuers had to deal with the first case of carbon monoxide poisoning on Friday. In the early evening, they helped two seniors in Štramberk, Novojičín region, who were taken to hospital with high levels of carbon monoxide in their blood.
