Several hundred people came to the Jihlava square on Thursday afternoon for the happening "NO! to communists and extremists." The event, aimed at opposing the questioning of NATO or EU membership and the Czech Republic's orientation towards the East, was opened by opera singer Dagmar Pecková with the singing of the national anthem less than 24 hours before the opening of the polling stations.
