Khartoum: A force of 106 fighters, including 18 officers, from the Sudan Liberation Forces (SDF) movement, Al-Tahir al-Hajr and Al-Alyfiyah, joined the Sudanese army in Northern Darfur, in conjunction with the bombing of the Sudanese army by forces led by Mohammed Hamdan Djello.

In Sudan, a group of 124 fighters affiliated with the Alliance for the Liberation of Sudan (ALF), led by Tahir Hajar, announced their defection from the ALF and their joining the army.
