On September 9th, Miyakojima City in Okinawa Prefecture and the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics (Tokyo) released a video titled "The Wise Son and Uruka Ranch" on the city's website. The video was edited by adding illustrations, pronunciation guides, and a modern Japanese translation to an audio recording of a Miyako dialect folktale made in 1987 by the former Gusukube Town.
