[Okinawa] A banyan tree at Goya Crossroads in Okinawa City, which was toppled by the strong winds of Typhoon No. 6, was moved to Yaeshima Park in the city on the 19th for regeneration. After approximately nine hours of work, from loading and transportation to planting, the tree successfully took root in its new location. A hole was dug to allow the roots to spread sufficiently, and the tree was planted in new potting soil mixed with fertilizer.
