90-Acre Blaze In Marlboro County 90% Contained
Marlboro County fire crews are working to contain an estimated 90-acre woods fire. The flames have been burning since Friday off of Marlboro Road. The blaze is now around 90% contained. The fire prompted assistance from the South Carolina Forestry Commission, Wallace Fire Rescue, the Bennettsville Fire Department and more. Crews are continuing to work on containing the fire and officials say smoke is expected to remain visible.
