A "Way of Love", the Rax cable car or the Pöstlingberg? The ORF wants to know again about the population and is looking for the most beautiful place in Austria. Also in the 13th edition of "9 places 9 treasures", 27 candidates for the title – three per federal state are riding in the pre-selection.
"9 places – 9 treasures" 2026: These 27 places are in the voting. Armin Assinger and Barbara Karlich present the 13th edition of the ORF success format.
The 27 candidates for the race for "9 places 9 treasures are fixed, Tyrol is represented with three places.
The Schafberg summit, the Friedenskirche Hochgründeck and the Wasserfallweg Lofer will take part in the ORF show for Salzburg this year. During a federal state vote, the audience will decide which of these three hidden places will represent the federal state in the grand TV finale.
Three Styrian excursion destinations are fighting this year for the entry into the final of "9 places – 9 treasures". From 2 October, the audience will decide which location Styria will be allowed to represent on the National Day.
