In 2025, a total of 80 people received euthanasia in Euskadi, an increase of 62% over the 49 registered in 2024. This was announced by the Euskadi Guarantee and Evaluation Commission on euthanasia during its appearance before the Health Committee of the Basque Parliament, requested by EH Bildu.
