8 pet stores violated N.J.’s pet purchasing act, slapped with big fines, official says
Eight pet stores across New Jersey have been issued notices of violation and fined more than $70,000, according to state Attorney General Matthew Platkin. Mama’s and Papa’s Pet Shop of Englewood, Silver Nickel Puppies at Troy’s Trims and Treats of Englewood, Pet Crew Pet Shop of Newark, Oh My Dog LLC of Kearny, Carmona Pet Shop Inc. of Union City, Pet Center in Old Bridge, Shake A Paw of Green Brook and Shake A Paw of Union were fined.
