Manipur: Missing elderly man found dead in Kangpokpi, shutdown called
Hemjang Haokip, an elderly resident of Khunkho Kuki Village, has been found dead after an alleged abduction. His body was discovered in a forest with hands bound behind his back. The Kuki Youth Organisation had previously requested authorities to escalate search efforts for his safe return. In response to his death, a shutdown has been announced across Kangpokpi district for mourning.
