BRATISLAVA - Another large company has found itself in trouble. The traditional German brewery Mauritius Brauerei, which brews Perlenbacher beer for the Lidl chain, among other things, is in insolvency. Its creditors will decide on its future and a possible sale for at least three million euros in the coming days.
After more than 700 years of brewing tradition, a Bavarian brewery has to file for insolvency and cancel every second job. However, the brewery should continue to run - and there is hope for a new start.
