- Dr. Casey Platnich of Trinity will lead the Snaprr project to detect RNA viruses, while Dr. Gabriela Kronemberger is developing Smart-Meniscus, a 3D bioprinting approach for meniscus repair.
- These five-year Starting Grants, worth up to €1.5m each, provide recipients independence to build new teams and push scientific boundaries, according to ERC president Prof Maria Leptin.
