- Troops are conducting sanitization operations to secure the area and recover weapons as the counter-terrorism campaign under "Azm e Istehkam" continues at full pace to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism.
- Militant violence has surged in Pakistan, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan accounting for nearly 96% of all violence-related fatalities, while Balochistan recorded 94 incidents representing 35% of the nationwide total.
