The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that 412 kilograms and 741 grams of narcotics were seized during a search and seizure operation conducted along the Van border. The seized drugs were reportedly handed over to the Başkale District Gendarmerie Command.
In a drug operation conducted in Başkale district of Van, approximately 413 kilograms of marijuana were seized and one suspect was taken into custody. According to the governor's office statement, the suspect's questioning by the gendarmerie is ongoing; the operation was carried out under the coordination of the Başkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
