In the voting which was attended by representatives from PCNU, PCINU, and PWNU, 401 participants agreed to change the mechanism for electing the General Chairperson of PBNU.
The 35th Nahdlatul Ulama Congress (NU) agreed to elect the PBNU General Chair through the AHWA (National Awakening Party). NU was also encouraged to revive the Basic Law and strengthen the economy of Nahdliyin (NU) members.
