The Guardia Civil has seized in the south of Gran Canaria a narco-lancha that transported a cache of cocaine of more than three tons of weight. In total 139 bales have been intervened that have dropped a weight of 3,360 kilos, the Armed Institute details in a statement. The operation has been settled with the arrest of the five crew members who were traveling on board with two long weapons for their protection.

A cache of 3,360 kilos of cocaine distributed in 139 bales and transported in a boat about 70 miles south of Gran Canaria is the booty seized by the Guardia Civil that has also detained its five crew members, who were sailing with two long firearms, according to a statement by the armed institute this Friday.

The Guardia Civil has intercepted to the south of Gran Canaria a semi-rigid vessel carrying 3,360 kilos of cocaine, distributed in 139 bales. The action took place when the boat was about 70 nautical miles south of the island and ended with the arrest of its five crew members.
