BARTON — Troopers observed a motorcyclist traveling at approximately 100 mph on U.S. Route 5 on Sept. 17 at approximately 6:26 p.m. Troopers attempted to stop the motorcyclist but were unsuccessful. Investigations revealed the motorcyclist continued south on Vermont Route 16 toward the town of Glover. The motorcyclist faces potential charges of negligent operation and excessive speed.
