2027 Kia PV7: Large electric commercial van teased
- Kia teased the upcoming PV7 electric van ahead of its global debut on September 15, 2026, at IAA Transportation in Hanover, Germany.
- Built on the E-GMP architecture underpinning the Kia EV6 and EV9, the PV7 sits above the mid-size PV5 as Kia's largest electric van in its growing lineup.
- The PV7 measures between 5,270 mm and 5,900 mm in length, significantly larger than the 4,695 mm PV5, positioning it against the Ford E-Transit and Mercedes-Benz eSprinter.
- Kia confirmed the PV7 will include Passenger and Cargo configurations; through August, the automaker sold 39,000 PV5 units, accounting for 37% of Europe's small electric van market.
- Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design, noted the vehicles offer "exceptional flexibility and customisation through radical modularisation," with launch planned for 2027.
